Prof. Dr. Norbert Sewald von der Fakultät für Chemie der Universität
Bielefeld berichtet über den Einsatz von Peptiden als Mimetica für
Oligosaccharide. Die Rolle der Peptidchemie in der industriellen
Produktion illustriert Dr. Jörg von Eysmondt von der Sanofi-Aventis
Deutschland AG, Frankfurt, am Beispiel der Insulinproduktion gestern und
heute. Bertil Hofte von Thermo Fisher Scientific in Breda (Niederlande)
erläutert, welche Potenziale LC/MS-Verfahren für die Untersuchung von
Peptidstrukturen bietet. Durch die Veranstaltung führt Prof. Dr. Udo
Kragl vom Institut für Chemie der Universität Rostock.
