Am 30. Oktober 2008 hält Dr. Felix Sasaki, der als Entwickler am WWW Consortium (W3C) in Japan tätig ist, an der Fachhochschule Potsdam einen Vortrag zu "Nachhaltigkeit von Webressourcen - Services, Datenheterogenität und Identifizierbarkeit". Er folgt damit einer Einladung des Fachbereichs Informationswissenschaften. Der Vortrag beginnt um 17 Uhr und setzt die Veranstaltungsreihe "Informationswissenschaften gegen den Gedächtnisverlust" fort. Veranstaltungsort ist das "Schaufenster" der Fachhochschule Potsdam, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 6, 14467 Potsdam.
Die Arbeiten am WWW Consortium (W3C), dem zentralen Gremium zur Entwicklung des Webs, beschäftigen sich vor allem mit den Fragen der Zusammenarbeit von Informationsdiensten im Netz. Aber auch das Problem der Dauerhaftigkeit von Angeboten und Diensten z.B. im Web2.0 kommt zunehmend in das Blickfeld des Web-Think-Tanks.
Der Fachbereich Informationswissenshaften lädt Interessenten, denen das Schicksal ihrer Daten nicht gleichgültig ist, zu diesem Vortrag mit anschließender Diskussion ein. Nähere Informationen finden Sie hier
