Dr. Michael Opielka, Professor für Sozialpolitik, spricht am
Leibniz-Institut für Altersforschung Jena -- Fritz-Lipmann-Institut (FLI)
zum Wandel des Wohlfahrtsstaates aus soziologischer und psychologischer
Perspektive.
Der Vortrag findet am Mittwoch, den 26. November um 14.00 Uhr im Hörsaal
des Abbe-Zentrums Beutenberg im Rahmen der Vortragsserie "Science &
Society" statt.
Der Professor für Sozialpolitik an der Fachhochschule Jena referiert zum
Thema "Der alternde Wohlfahrtsstaat". Er fokussiert dabei den
kulturellen und politischen Wandel in soziologischer und psychologischer
Perspektive. Michael Opielka hat als Diplom-Pädagoge in Soziologie bei
dem Soziologie-Professor und Anhänger der späten "Frankfurter Schule"
Claus Offe an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin promoviert, sich als
wissenschaftlicher Referent der GRÜNEN im Bundestag für sozialpolitische
Themen stark gemacht und später als Geschäftsführer des Institutes für
Sozialökologie für den Umbau des Sozialstaates und die Einführung von
Bürgerversicherung, Grundeinkommen und Grundrente geworben. Michael
Opielka habilitierte sich in Soziologie mit dem Thema "Werte im
Wohlfahrtsstaat" und ist seit 2000 Professor für Sozialpolitik an der FH
Jena.
