wir möchten Sie auf die Pressekonferenz am 20.11.2008 anlässlich der internationalen Tagung zur Angewandten Infektionsepidemiologie (ESCAIDE) aufmerksam machen. Auf der Pressekonferenz wird unter anderem Dr. Gérard Krause dabei sein, er ist im Robert Koch-Institut Leiter der Abteilung für Infektionsepidemiologie. Die Presseinladung des Europäischen Zentrums für Krankheitskontrolle und Prävention (ECDC) ist als Pdf-Datei beigefügt, sie ist einschließlich weiterer Informationen zur Tagung auch auf den RKI-Internetseiten abrufbar: www.rki.de > Service > Presse > Pressetermine.
Veranstalter der Tagung sind ECDC, EPIET (European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training), das EPIET-Alumni-Netzwerk sowie TEPHINET EUROPE (Training Programs in Epidemiology and Public Health Interventions Network). Erwartet werden mehrere hundert Wissenschaftler und Praktiker aus dem Bereich Infektionsschutz. Das Robert Koch-Institut ist an der Vorbereitung und Durchführung der Veranstaltung beteiligt. Mit seiner Postgraduiertenausbildung für angewandte Epidemiologie (PAE) ist es auch Teil des EPIET- und TEPHINET-Netzwerks (nähere Informationen siehe www.rki.de/pae).
