Mit Wilhelm Genazino, der 2004 den Büchner-Preis erhielt, übernimmt einer der renommiertesten und bekanntesten Autoren der Gegenwart im Sommersemester 2009 die Poetikprofessur an der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. In vier Abendvorträgen stellt Genazino Ausschnitte aus seinem Werk vor.
Weitere Termine am 9. Juli 2009, "Ironie als Notausgang" und am 16. Juli 2009, "Der Roman als Delirium". Die Poetikprofessur endet am 17. und 18. Juli mit einem wissenschaftlichen Kolloquium.
