Zum 24. International Meeting On Organic Geochemistry, IMOG 2009, vom 6. bis 11. September 2009 werden knapp 500 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer aus 40 Nationen in Bremen erwartet. Die Konferenz ist die größte Tagung der Organischen Geochemie. In Zusammenarbeit mit der European Association of Organic Geochemists wird der Bremer Kongress unter Leitung von Prof. Kai-Uwe Hinrichs, Uni Bremen, Prof. Walter Michaelis, Uni Hamburg und Prof. Jürgen Rullkötter, Uni Oldenburg, organisiert.
