Wissenschaftliche Leitung:
Prof. Dr. Claus Leggewie, Politologe und Publizist, ist Direktor des Kulturwissenschaftlichen Instituts Essen, wo er den Forschungsschwerpunkt KlimaKultur ins Leben rief. Von 1995 bis 1997 war er erster Inhaber des Max Weber-Chair an der New York University; er bekleidete Gastprofessuren an der Université Paris-Nanterre und am Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen Wien und war 1999/2000 Fellow am Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin.
KWI KlimaKultur on Tour:
2009 und 2010 fahren Angehörige des Forschungsschwerpunkts "KlimaKultur" am KWI in Kooperation mit dem Goethe-Institut nach Nordamerika und referieren dort zum Thema Klimakultur.
