Der "Tag der Holzwirtschaft" wird alljährlich vom Zentrum Holzwirtschaft an der Universität Hamburg und dem Johann Heinrich von Thünen-Institut (vTI) veranstaltet. Das diesjährige Symposium steht unter dem Motto "Holztechnologie zwischen Grundlagenforschung, Industrienähe und Politikberatung". Hochkarätige Redner addressieren aktuelle Themen rund um den Themenbereich Holztechnologie und Holzwerkstoffe.
