Der britische Naturforscher Charles Darwin entdeckte vor 150 Jahren den Mechanismus der Evolution. Seine Theorien über die Entstehung und Veränderung aller Lebewesen prägen seither unser Verständnis der Artenvielfalt. Doch auch heute sind noch längst nicht alle Geheimnisse der Evolution gelüftet. Matthias Glaubrecht von Naturkundemuseum Berlin zeigt, wie Darwins Erben an exotischen Forschungsorten die Vorgänge vom Werden und Wandel der Arten untersuchen und von dort neue Erkenntnisse über die Lebensvielfalt mitbringen. Der Vortrag findet am 26. November 2009 in der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek in München statt. Beginn ist 19 Uhr, der Eintritt ist frei.
