Am 20. Oktober 2009 wird in Bonn der Max-Planck-Forschungspreis 2009 an Aleida Assmann, Professorin für Anglistik und Allgemeine Literaturwissenschaft an der Universität Konstanz, und Karl Galinsky, Professor für Klassische Philologie an der University of Texas in Austin, USA, verliehen.
