Die CD entstand im Herbst aus Anlass des 50jährigen Jubiläums der Städtepartnerschaft von Greifswald und Kotka (Finnland) an der Orgel der Stadtkirche in Kotka. Mit dem Konzert werden zugleich Spenden für die Einrichtung eines Skriptoriums am Dom St. Nikolai gesammelt, das die mittelalterliche Geschichte des Doms und seine Bedeutung für den Glauben und die Kultur sichtbar und erlebbar machen soll. Das Konzert beginnt um 19.30 Uhr, vorher schenkt der Leo-Club, die Jugendorganisation des Lions-Clubs, im Domturm Glühwein aus.
