The seminar aims to provide a comprehensive overview of current theoretical and empirical work dealing with social, economic and policy aspects of rural development. As the seminar title suggests, the seminar will focus on the following topics:
* rural governance models and approaches,
* paradigm shift and new approaches in rural development policy design and delivery,
* rural livelihoods and structural change - socio-economic aspects and methods applicable to rural areas,
* tools for evaluating rural development policies.
Experts from a wide range of economic disciplines are invited to provide state of the art papers concerning the topics listed above. As these are all current topics of relevance to rural development policy, the seminar should be of interest to both the scientific community and policy practitioners.
Until March 15, 2010 abstracts for papers and posters can be submitted (2 pages, Times New Roman font, point size 12, single spaceing). For detailed information please see the seminar webpage http://www.118-eaae-ruraldevelopment.org.
The seminar is jointly organised by the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), IAMO and the Slovene Association of Agricultural Economists (DAES).

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
