Themen werden unter anderem demographische Entwicklungen in Mecklenburg und insbesondere Rostock seit dem 19. Jahrhundert, die Frage nach den Merkmalen einer "alternden Gesellschaft" sowie die diskursive Behandlung des Thema Alterns in Wissenschaft und Presse sein.
