Für das Seminar konnten neben den Partner Unternehmen und Instituten namenhafte Referenten von Firmen wie die TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik GmbH, ROFIN-BAASEL Lasertech GmbH & Co. KG, die Wieland Werke AG, die MANZ Automation AG sowie Institute wie Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) und das Werkzeugmaschinenlabor WZL der Rheinisch-Westfälischen Technischen Hochschule Aachen gewonnen werden.
Gastgeber ist das Fraunhofer ILT. Im Anschluss an das Fachprogramm ist eine Führung geplant.

Die Tagungsgebühr beträgt € 249 bei Anmeldung bis zum 29.10.2010. Danach beträgt die Tagungsgebühr € 269. Im Preis enthalten sind ein Tagungsband, Pausengetränke und Snacks. Die Tagungsgebühr für IVAM Mitglieder beträgt € 199 bei Anmeldung bis zum 29.10.2010.Danach beträgt die Tagungsgebühr € 219. Im Preis enthalten sind ein Tagungsband, Pausengetränke und Snacks.
