Deutschsprachige Wissenschaftler berichten am 11. April über den aktuellen Forschungsstand zu Schimmelpilzgiften, Furan, Glucosinolaten, Acrylamid und Resveratrol. Gäste sind willkommen; die Veranstaltung wird vom Universitätsbund Würzburg und der Gesellschaft für Umwelt-Mutationsforschung unterstützt.
Abgeschlossen wird die Tagung am Dienstag, 12. April, mit dem Vortrag "DNA Adduct Formation from Agrochemicals in Crop Plants" von Prof. Dr. Donald W. Boerth, Chemistry & Biochemistry Department, University of Massachusetts, um 13:00 Uhr, Kurssaal 3 des Instituts.
Anlass für die Tagung ist der 65. Geburtstag von Professor Erwin Eder. Der Toxikologe befasst sich seit vielen Jahren mit krebserregenden und vor Krebs schützenden Nahrungsinhaltsstoffen.
