Mehr als 50 Institute mit über 1000 Mitarbeitern sind Teil des BioSC. Sie alle bearbeiten zentrale Themen zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer umweltschonenden Ökonomie auf der Basis nachwachsender Rohstoffe. Dazu zählen etwa die nachhaltige Produktion von Pflanzen, neue Verfahren zur Verarbeitung von Biomasse und der Einsatz von Mikroorganismen und biokatalytischen Verfahren zur Herstellung von Wertstoffen. Ebenso werden Fragen der wirtschaftlichen Umsetzbarkeit der Bioökonomie und ihrer gesellschaftlichen Akzeptanz untersucht.
Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie neugierig auf das BioSC geworden sind und sich selbst ein Bild von den Möglichkeiten und den Aufgaben der Forschung hinsichtlich des Themas Bioökonomie machen wollen. Das Programm und die Anmeldung für die Rundfahrt finden Sie im Anhang.
