Can sustainable growth and competitive edge be engineered? The race to retain and gain competitive edge is a global contest. Innovation and smart resource management are key to building future success. How can business leaders and governments make an impact in a field of conflicting international interests, interdependencies, and regulatory intervention? And what role does the human factor play in long-term success?
Michael Diekmann, Chairman of the Board of Management, Allianz SE and Chairman of the ESMT Foundation Board of Trustees, will open this year’s Annual Forum. Following a keynote address by Henning Kagermann, President of acatech and former CEO of SAP, the Cornerstone Panel on “E-Mobility: The Race is On” will take place with Soumitra Dutta (Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology and Academic Director, eLab, INSEAD), Michel Gardel (Vice-President, External Affairs & Environmental Affairs, Toyota Motor Europe), Jürgen Großmann (CEO, RWE), Henning Kagermann, and Levin Zhu (CEO, China International Capital Corporation Ltd).
The ESMT Responsible Leadership Award 2011 honors Güler Sabancı (Chairman and Managing Director, Sabancı Holding) and will be presented by Josef Ackermann (Chairman of the Management Board and the Group Executive Committee, Deutsche Bank).
The second day belongs to renowned scholars and international experts discussing the topics “Competitive Edge on the Net,” “The Race for Talent," and “New Technologies for Global Markets.” Panelists and speakers include Jan Muehlfeit (Chairman Microsoft Europe), Dietmar Harhoff (Director INNO-tec, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität LMU München), Francesca Gino (Professor, Harvard Business School), Detlef Eckert (Director, DG Information Society & Media at the European Commission), and Thomas A. You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
