Dear Journalist/Colleague,
Can you understand how it feels to live in constant pain? 130 million people in Europe can. One in four adults suffers from chronic pain, which not only restricts their quality of life but also makes them unable to work. This costs the economy and healthcare systems as much as EUR 300 billion annually.
In order to improve this situation NGOs from across Europe have decided to raise awareness for Chronic Pain as a disease, promote research into its diagnosis, advocate for better treatment and implement a “Road Map for Action” as decided by European healthcare specialists at the last European Symposium SIP (Societal Impact of Pain 2011).

As you can see from the attached invitation Pain Alliance Europe (PAE) will be launched

Pain Alliance Europe You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
