Zunehmend strengere Emissionsgesetze sowie ein gesteigertes öffentliches Interesse an umweltverträglichen Antriebskonzepten bestimmen die Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaktivitäten der Großmotorhersteller und deren Zulieferer. Vor diesem Hintergund bildet die 2. Rostocker Großmotorentagung ein Forum für technische Diskussionen zwischen Entwicklern und Nutzern von Großmotoren.
