„Kurz- und langfristige ökonomische Wirkungen Olympischer Spiele“
Nach den Olympischen Spielen bleiben nicht nur Medaillen und Weltrekorde. Auch aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht hat der sportliche Wettkampf der Nationen weit reichende Folgen. Was also steht der Kostenseite der Spiele gegenüber? Wie nachhaltig sind die ökonomischen Auswirkungen? Mit diesen Fragen wird sich am 31. Mai Prof. Wolfgang Maennig befassen. Der Professor für Wirtschaftspolitik an der Universität Hamburg ist Experte unter anderem für Sportökonomik und gewann 1988 in Seoul selbst olympisches Gold im Rudern.
