Traditionell findet seit 1997 im November jeden Jahres das Augenoptische Kolloquium des Studienganges Augenoptik/Optometrie statt. Bei der eintägigen Veranstaltung können sich Interessierte über neueste Erkenntnisse aus Wissenschaft, Forschung und Entwicklung sowie der Industrie informieren. Das Kolloquium bietet außerdem eine hervorragende Plattform zum Austausch zwischen den verschiedenen Disziplinen.
