Nach der Begrüßung durch den Rektor Professor Rainer Westermann werden die Promotionspreise der Gesellschaft von Freunden und Förderern der Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald e. V. sowie das Käthe-Kluth-Stipendium übergeben. Den Festvortrag hält Dr. phil. h. c. Raimund Fellinger. Thema seines Vortrages wird sein "Der Urheber und das Urheberrecht". Anschließend findet die Übergabe der Habilitations- und Promotionsurkunden statt. Für die musikalische Umrahmung am Klavier sorgt Benjamin Saupe.
