FRITZ / DORF / STADT ist eine Ausstellung im mobilen Würfel. Sie nimmt vier ehemalige Kolonistendörfer in der Metropolregion Berlin-Brandenburg in den Blick: Nowawes/Babelsberg, Erkner, Friedrichshagen und Rixdorf/Neukölln. Im Verlauf des Jahres wandert sie von Ort zu Ort.
Zur Regierungszeit Friedrichs des Großen wurden die vier Kolonistendörfer
im stadtnahen Raum gegründet bzw. erweitert. Man verfolgte das Ziel, Fachkräfte in das dünn besiedelte Land zu locken. Inzwischen sind diese Orte bedeutender Bestandteil der Berlin-Potsdamer Stadtregion.
Die Ausstellung ist integraler Bestandteil des Programms von Kulturland
Brandenburg 2012.
Vom 11. Juni bis 9. August 2012 wird der erste Ausstellungsteil Nowawes/
Babelsberg präsentiert. Ab 9. September 2012 folgt der Ausstellungsteil
Erkner.
