Hochschulpräsident Hartmut Ihne spricht das Grußwort, Prof. Dr. André Hinkenjann, neben Prof. Dr. Rainer Herpers einer der Institutsdirektoren, wird in der Festveranstaltung (10 bis 12 Uhr) das IVC vorstellen. Besonders gespannt sein darf man auch auf den Gastvortrag von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Philipp Slusallek vom Deutschen Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz Saarbrücken.
Beim Mittagsimbiss besteht die Gelegenheit, in der Posterpräsentation (Hochschulstraße) Projekte des IVC kennenzulernen und mit den Projektbeteiligten zu diskutieren. Ab 13.30 Uhr öffnet das IVC seine Labore für Live-Demonstrationen, sozusagen Visual Computing mit Aha-Effekt zum Anfassen.
Die Veranstaltung klingt bei Kaffee und Kuchen gegen 16 Uhr aus.
