Pressure intensified processes in life- and material sciences

Pressure and Supercritical gases are opening pathways to new environmentally benign and sustainable processes and products. The colloquium will provide an update on selected actual developments in high pressure research and technology. It will address specific properties of pressurized systems and demonstrate how those can be used to generate new products. It will highlight
• how bioavailability of drugs can be influenced by high pressure and formulation,
• how new materials like specific semiconducting materials can be generated at pressures up to 14 MPa,
• that CO2-intensified processes have the potential to save several million tons of CO2- emissions and waste water
• actual developments on industrial applications of high pressure technology in South Korea

Help

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
