Praxisrelevante Lösungen aus zahlreichen F+E-Kooperationsvorhaben – mehr als 30 wurden seit 2007 mit Förderung durch das BMBF im „amos applikationszentrum mikrooptische systeme“ durchgeführt – stehen im Vordergrund. Verbindende Elemente sind die Miniaturisierung von Sensorik und Optik, deren Integration in optoelektronische Systeme sowie das Ziel, gemeinsam mit der Industrie Wege hin zu neuen Produkten und Technologien zu gehen.
