Olga Grjasnowa, geboren 1984 in Baku/ Aserbaidschan, wuchs im Kaukasus auf und lebt seit 1996 in Deutschland. Sie studierte am Deutschen Literaturinstitut Leipzig und absolviert derzeit den Studiengang Tanzwissenschaften an der Freien Universität Berlin. 2012 debütierte sie mit ihrem vielfach gelobten Roman "Der Russe ist einer, der Birken liebt".
Wilmer Urrelo Zaráte, geboren 1975 in La Páz/ Bolivien erhielt bereits für seine beiden ersten Romane, "Mundo negro" und "Fantasmas asesinos", bedeutsame Preise. Bislang sind seine Werke noch nicht ins Deutsche übersetzt worden.
