Die Laudatio hält der Vorsitzende der Jury des Akademiepreises, Prof. Dr. Peter Strohschneider. Auch die Ministerin für Bildung, Wissenschaft, Weiterbildung und Kultur Doris Ahnen sowie die Präsidentin der Mainzer Akademie Prof. Dr. Elke Lütjen-Decroll werden an diesem feierlichen Abend anwesend sein.
Der Preisträger präsentiert einen Vortrag aus seinem Fachgebiet mit dem Titel »Geoinformatik und Vermessung. Ingenieurswissenschaften mit Tradition – innovativ, interdisziplinär und zukunftsweisend«.
