Der Film wird von der Produzentin Natalie Beer persönlich vorgestellt. „Waiting Area“ ist ein preisgekrönter Dokumentarfilm, der sich mit dem Leben äthiopischer Menschen in der Wartezone einer Klinik beschäftigt. Gedreht wurde er in Attat, Äthiopien.
Der Erlös geht an ein Ausbildungsprojekt für äthiopische Mädchen.
Hinter Semay® verbirgt sich eine Studenteninitiative der internationalen BWL-Studenten. Seit dem 17. Oktober 2012 ist Semay® als Marke registriert. Ziel ist es auf Herausforderungen in Entwicklungsländern aufmerksam zu machen und mit Aktionen und Vermarktungskonzepten zu einer Verbesserung der Lebensqualität speziell in Äthiopien beizutragen.
