Den Anfang macht Prof. Henry Fuchs von der University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill mit dem Vortrag "Dreams, Illusions, and Promise of Telepresence". Der Professor für Informatik und Biomedizintechnik beschäftigt sich seit den 70er Jahren mit Computergrafiken und Spezialeffekten in Film und Fernsehen. In seinem Vortrag erklärt Prof. Fuchs einige Tricks und Effekte aus dem Forschungsfeld der Telepräsenz und wagt einen Blick in die Zukunft der Computertechnik.
Am darauffolgenden Tag spricht Dr. Mark Mine über "Technology and Magic at Walt Disney Imagineering" (Dienstag, 18. Juni 2013, 16 Uhr).
