Helmholtz Zentrum München and Nature Medicine intend to initiate a recurring, high-impact conference series in which top leaders in the field of diabetes interact to facilitate the identification of, and potential solutions to, the preeminent scientific challenges facing the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes. The conference will feature two award presentations, the Helmholtz Diabetes Lecture, in recognition of the lifetime achievements of a senior leader in the field, and the Helmholtz Young Investigator Diabetes (HeIDi) Award, in recognition of a rising star. The Helmholtz Diabetes Lecture 2013 will be awarded to Dr. C. Ronald Kahn of the Joslin Diabetes Center (Harvard Medical School).
To view the plenary speakers and HeIDi nominees and to register for the conference, please visit the conference website (http://www.nature.com/natureconferences/hmgu2013/index.html). Please note that early booking rates are available through August 1, 2013.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
