The summer school will be held in 13-20 of september 2013 in Lviv, Ukraine and it will
provide a total of 21 posts with 7 places each offered to participants from Poland, Germany and Ukraine respectively.
The program of summer school will include lectures and seminars conducted by experts of various fields of psychiatry and public health care in general.
The main topics for disscussion as follows:
* History of psychiatry in 20-th century
* Methodological backgrounds of psychiatry: the past and the future.
* Classification of mental disorders.
* Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
Agenda of summer school provides for conducting lectures and seminars by one of invited experts. This allows participants to be deeply involved into discussion process.
The overall idea is that the summer school will stimulate interest for further cooperation, research activities and joint preparation of manuscripts in smaller groups of junior and senior participants and that these activities will extend beyond the duration of the summer school.
This event ist sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of health, Polish Ministry of Health and Ukrainian umbrella association of psychotherapists.

Who should apply?
Young doctors, post-doctors and Ph.D., students from disciplines such as psychiatry, clinical psichology and social sciences interested in state of the art in modern psychiatry.
Please send your mail application with a motivation letter which proves an interest in one of the 4 topics mantioned before, your expectations associated with summer psychiatry school a short CV, including a list of publications.
