Die zweite, internationale Hermeneutik- und Translationswissenschaftskonferenz trägt den Titel „Übersetzungshermeneutik – Ihre Anwendung in neuen Forschungsfeldern“ ( “New areas of research in Translational Hermeneutics”).
Hauptredner ist Prof. Dr. Berndt Schnettler (Lehrstuhl für Kultur- und Religionssoziologie, University of Bayreuth) zum Thema "Hermeneutics, Sociology of Knowledge and Genre Analysis".
Neben Prof. Schnettler stehen folgende Vortrag auf dem Programm:
- Sieglinde Pommer über “Law and Translation: A Hermeneutics of the Legal Text,”
- Radegundis Stolze über “Dimensionen der Subjektivität beim Übersetzen,”
- Holger Siever über “Die Rolle der Hermeneutik in der Entstehung der Übersetzungswissenschaft,” sowie
- George Heffernan über “Understanding Husserl's Language of Essences: Hermeneutical Remarks on Translation in Phenomenology.”
