Renowned keynote speakers like Nobel laureates Manfred Eigen and Erwin Neher and international experts like Eugene Myers, Terry Speed and Sarah Teichmann set the tone for a comprehensive program covering a broad range of topics from bioinformatics. Satellite workshops offer deep insight in hands-on topics such as statistical and computational methods, alignment-free sequence comparison and methods for integrated analysis of multi-level data-sets.
The GCB 2013 ist organized by the bioinformatics groups of Göttingen in cooperation with DECHEMA Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie, GBM Gesellschaft für Biochemie und Molekulare Biologie and the Special Interest Group on Informatics in Biology of the German Society of Computer Science.
