Am Beispiel der Choralpartiten führt er in seine Kompositionstechnik ein. Dabei geht es auch um Echtheitsfragen: Neben den vier etablierten Choralpartiten aus verschiedenen Schaffensphasen des Leipziger Thomaskantors kursiert eine Reihe weiterer Partiten, die unter Bachs Namen überliefert sind. Professor Schneider führt an Beispielen vor, wie die Frage "echt oder unecht" beantwortet werden kann.
Das Konzert beginnt um 20:00 Uhr, der Eintritt ist frei.
