Owing to its broad spectrum and high-caliber line-up of speakers, the ORCHEM conference is one of the most attractive organic chemistry conferences in Germany for academic as well as industrial chemists. It caters for established professionals, young researchers, and students. Indeed, an important feature of the ORCHEM programme are poster sessions where young researchers can present their latest results and discuss these with leading experts.
The city of Weimar will host the 20th ORCHEM in 2016. Weimar is famous for the German Enlightenment, the writers Goethe and Schiller, many artists, including Kandinsky, Klee, Feininger, Gropius who also founded the Bauhaus movement. It is a reasonably small town that can be reached readily by train from all major German cities.
The ORCHEM 2016 lectures will cover the following areas:
Synthesis • Catalysis • Methodology • Reactivity
There will also be an evening lecture on September 05, 2016, in the context of “Chemistry and Music”.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
