Aim of the conference:
DNA, RNA and proteins are the central molecules of life in all organisms. Chemistry acts on all of them by installing different types of modifications – often in a reversible manner. This extra layer of chemical complexity tailors the functionality of the respective biopolymer in various useful ways – both in nature and in the test tube.
This conference aims to bring together scientists from chemistry and biology working on functional, mechanistic, and analytical aspects of natural modifications. Non-natural modifications will also be covered regarding synthesis and application in biotechnology.
There will be 6-8 plenary lectures by leading international scientists, plus ~20 oral presentations, mostly selected from the submitted abstracts.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
