Amrita Narlikar ist die Präsidentin des GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies und Professorin an der Universität Hamburg. Zuvor war sie Dozentin für Internationale Politische Ökonomie an der Universität Cambridge und Gründungsdirektorin des dortigen "Centre for Rising Powers". Rainer Forst ist Sprecher des Exzellenzclusters „Die Herausbildung normativer Ordnungen“ und Professor für Politische Theorie und Philosophie an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main.
