Im März dieses Jahres beging Janosch (eigentlich Horst Eckert) seinen 85. Geburtstag.
Weltweit ist Janosch vor allem als Autor und Illustrator von Kinderbüchern geschätzt.
Weniger bekannt ist er als Romanautor mit Themen wie „Oberschlesien“ oder „Polen“.
Hierzu kann der in Hindenburg/Zabrze geborene Autor aus eigener Erfahrung
Authentisches vermitteln. Aus diesem Grund werden bei der angekündigten Lesung
markante Ausschnitte aus den folgenden Romanen gelesen und erläutert: „Cholonek
oder der liebe Gott aus Lehm“ und „Polski blues“.
