Begleitend zur Ausstellung „Nathalie Grenzhaeuser. The Arctic Series. Part II“ laden die Kunsthalle Bremerhaven und das Alfred-Wegener-Institut, Helmholtz-Zentrum für Polar- und Meeresforschung (AWI) am Donnerstag, den 26. Mai um 19 Uhr zu einem Bildvortrag über das Leben und Arbeiten im arktischen Wissenschaftsdorf Ny-Ålesund in die Kunsthalle ein.
Dort wird Rudolf Denkmann, Geophysiker und ehemaliger Stationsleiter, von seiner Überwinterung in der nördlichsten Siedlung der Welt berichten.
