ETFA2016 offers a high quality technical program featuring keynotes and plenary sessions, interesting and important satellite events to include the Industry Day, and an attractive social program with the banquet dinner and a boat trip through the center of Berlin.
It is a long standing tradition of the ETFA conference series to cooperate with the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and, therefore, the 2016 event is also co-sponsored by the IEEE society.
2016, the event is held in Germany and organized by the Fraunhofer IOSB-INA and inIT- Institute Industrial IT. Located in Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL), one of Germany's strongest regions of mechanical engineering and industrial electronics, both institutes are carrying out research and development in intelligent automation technologies. OWL is Germany's leading edge technology cluster for intelligent technical systems (it's OWL), awarded by the german government in 2012.
The aim of the ETFA 2016 conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners from the industry and academia and provide them with a platform to report on recent advances and developments in the newly emerging areas of technology, as well as actual and potential applications to industrial and factory automation.

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
