Im Vordergrund stehen dabei sowohl die in technischen Prozessen bereits eingeführten Verfahren, als auch neuere Entwicklungen auf den Gebieten der elektrochemischen Membranverfahren, der Elektrokatalyse, der Galvanotechnik und des prozessintegrierten Umweltschutzes. Der dreitägige Kurs wird in Form einer ausgewogenen Mischung aus Praktikumsversuchen und Seminaren mit Diskussion angeboten.
