When the sports company Salewa introducee a new corporate image, all old clothes hangers in the shops had to be changed. This was the moment when Prof. Kuno Prey started to do an upcycling project with his students at the Faculty of Design and Art, imagining several new applications for this everyday object.
The Faculty is part of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (South Tyrol, Italy), offering courses in the three languages German, Italian and English and combining Visual and Product communication.
The best items will be exposed at the International Upcycling Fair & Exhibition_Echt Alt/Original Old in Leipzig from 20-23 October 2016.

Upcycling fair You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
