Big Data analytics has become important to the process industry and reveals new market opportunities as well as it could lead to process advantages and cost reductions within the production. No matters whether it is the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, steel, energy or other related industries: enormous amounts of data are created every second and need to be analyzed to further improve processes, enhance production, develop innovative products and not only in case of maintenance to understand what will happen next.
