Seit Januar 2017 koordiniert das Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum das Interreg-Projekt Made in Danube. Ziel des Projekts ist es, den Wissenstransfer im gesamten Donauraum sowie die Innovationsfähigkeit dort ansässiger KMU im Bereich der Bioökonomie langfristig voranzutreiben. Dafür werden drei regionale Initiativen aus dem Donauraum unterstützt und „open Innovation-Tools“ entwickelt. Auf diesem Wege sollen 15 langfristige Innovationspartnerschaften zwischen Forschungseinrichtungen und 40 im Donauraum angesiedelten KMU im Bereich Bioökonomie aufgebaut werden.
Themen der Konferenz sind :
- Bioökonomie im Donauraum
- Förderung von Bioökonomie durch Horizont 2020
- Vorstellung der drei regionalen Initiativen:
- Smart and innovative precision farming , Transfer Center der Slovak University of Agriculture, Nitra, Slowakei
- Competence Center in Wood Sector, Regionale Entwicklungsagentur HRAST in Vukovar, Kroatien
- Biofuel, Fakultät für Technische Wissenschaften an der Universität von Novi Sad, Serbien
