Online Info Session informs about the Masterprogram "Management of Product Development"

The Master Program Management of Product Development enables participants to analyze, design, operate, and implement product development processes in their companies in an optimized way. Based on an integrated approach to product creation processes, graduates can successfully implement innovative ideas and innovation in competitive products. Hear more about the program from Program Director Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Albert Albers at the Online Info Session on March 6th, 11:00-11:30 a.m. (UTC +1).

The HECTOR School is the Technology Business School of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). It offers high-level academic education programs for professionals on a part-time basis. One of these programs is the Executive Master in "Management of Product Development".

Product development is the process of entirely planning and prototyping novel technical systems. It ranges from finding the product profile to creating a concept, designing, making prototypes, testing and validating. The actual manufacturing phase follows subsequently and is the second and final stage of the product creation process.

The content of the Master Program is divided into 10 modules: five Management Modules presents broader knowledge in management and five Engineering Modules provide deep knowledge in technology developments.

Content of the Engineering Modules:
- Design and Validation Process & Information Systems for Product Development
- Integrated Product Development by ASD – Agile Systems Design
- PGE - Product Generation Engineering
- Systems and Cases
- Multi-Technological Systems & Workshops

Content of the Management Modules:
- Innovation & Projects
- Finance & Value
- Marketing & Data
- Strategy & People
- Decisions & Risk

The unique combination from engineering and management topics enable students to gain positions in leading positions (management or technology driven) in an international environment.

Prospective Students and industry can learn more about the part-time executive master program “Management of Product Development” and ask their questions in the webinar on March 3rd, 2018 from 11:00-11:30 a.m. (UTC +1).
