Our press tour on Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will begin at Booth 229 in Hall 2. Fraunhofer experts will use select exhibits to demonstrate the latest research findings and developments in the field of aviation. Find out more about how aircraft components made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic are recycled into materials for batteries and fuel cells, how automated processes can print electrical circuit boards directly on to the fuselage, and how flying will be a more comfortable experience for passengers in the future. The press tour will continue with a visit to our Booth 202 in Hall 4, where the topic of space takes center stage. Here, our scientists will present a versatile CubeSat, a new radar system that reliably detects space debris, and a special laser, which simulates the impact of cosmic, ionizing radiation particles in electronic components (single event effects). The tour will conclude with a brunch, where you will have the opportunity to interact with and interview our scientists.
In addition, we would like to invite you to attend our conference “Digital reality for production and MRO innovations” on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the ILA conference center, Room CHARLIE. More information and program details can be found at https://www.ila-berlin.de/de/conference/1550.
Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or require more information.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
