Electric Mobility Networking Conference 2018 - Programme
On 12 and 13 November 2018 the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) will hold the third "Electric Mobility Networking Conference". The "Electric Mobility Networking Conference 2018" offers German and international players from industry, research and politics a forum for networking, professional exchange and the initiation of transnational cooperation. Top-class impulse speeches, panel discussions and expert forums as well as an exhibition with exhibits from research and development offer comprehensive networking opportunities.
The conference will be attended by Federal Minister Peter Altmaier and Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission. A particular focus will be placed this year on the effects of current global developments on industry in Germany and cooperation within the EU and with international partners.
Rapid technical progress with extremely short innovation cycles, the disintegration of traditional value chains, user acceptance, and the economic policies of key partner countries and rivals are just a few aspects. In addition to impulse statements, panel discussions and expert forums on current and forward-looking issues, new technological advances and path-breaking projects will be highlighted. There will also be an exhibition of findings from research projects.

The DLR Project Management Agency, division ICT / Electric Mobility, supports the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in designing and planning the conference.
The DLR Project Management Agency specialises in services for the funding of research, innovation and education. As one of Germany’s largest project management agencies, it supports German state and federal ministries in implementing research funding programmes and operates on behalf of the European Commission, foundations and associations.
