Digitization in healthcare generates massive databases which have allowed the implementation of new AI-based solutions. This technological shift brings new scientific, economic and political opportunities and challenges in our healthcare systems. AI in health has thus become a top priority in European public policy as well as in the private sector. It represents a paradigm shift towards 6P-medicine (predictive, preventive, proof-based, patient-centric, personalized and precise) which will have an impact on well-being.
France and Germany have both acknowledged the importance of AI and are joining forces to make Europe a leader in this field. The cooperation between both countries in the health sector is already one of the most intense.
The conference will be opened by Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn (CDU) in presence of the Ambassador of France, Anne-Marie Descôtes. It will explore aspects regarding public policy as well as medical, industrial, scientific and ethical stakes of the development of AI in the health sector and will showcase French & German start-ups.
The number of seats of the conference is limited.
