YCOPE: 1st International Young Professionals Conference on Process Engineering

We are going to discuss future aspects of Process Engineering and contribute to the ongoing debate on how to find cutting-edge solutions to the process industry. As synergies can be obtained on theoretical, algorithmic, and even software-related areas, we are bringing together experienced opinion makers, young professionals, rising stars and innovators from both the industry and the academia to foster exchange.

The event is organized jointly by the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Advanced Methods in Process and Systems Engineering (IMPRS ProEng), Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg and Institute of Energy and Systems Process Engineering, TU Braunschweig.

For three days, bright young minds are going to discuss future aspects of Process Engineering and contribute to the ongoing debate on how to find cutting-edge solutions to the process industry. As synergies can be obtained on theoretical, algorithmic, and even software-related areas, we are bringing together experienced opinion makers, young professionals, rising stars and innovators from both the industry and the academia to foster exchange, thus, paving the way for innovation out of apparently unrelated areas.

Our focus lies on four clusters:
Biotechnological Production Processes
Process Systems for Renewable Energy Conversion
Production & Separation Methods for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients
Process Engineering Theoretical Tools and Concepts

YCOPE 2019 expects about 100 participants consisting of undergraduate students, graduate students, post-graduate students and young professionals. Please, note, undergraduate and graduate students currently writing their thesis or who just submitted their thesis are also encouraged to submit their work.

Deadline for submissions is Dec. 14, 2018, and applicants can submit up to two abstracts – either for a talk and/or for a poster presentation.

Further information can be found on our website http://www.mpi-magdeburg.mpg.de/YCOPE2019

Help

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
